Google Account Deletion
If you subscribed to BET+ through Google Play, you may delete your BET+ account at any time once your subscription has been successfully canceled.
Deleting your Bet+ account will delete or anonymize any data associated with it so that it is no longer connected to your email address.
Upon deletion:
- You will permanently lose access to your account, any profiles associated with it, and viewing preferences, including movies and shows saved to your “My List”.
- You will lose access to the BET+ service immediately. You will not be able to access the service for any remaining days left to run on your subscription and you will not receive a refund for this period.
What is the difference between canceling my subscription and deleting my account?
By canceling your subscription, you’ll still have access to BET+ through the end of your billing period. For example, if you cancel your subscription on September 1, but your billing date is September 20, you will be able to stream BET+ until September 20.
Deleting your account will cancel your subscription immediately, unless you’re billed through a third party (like Apple, Android, Amazon, or Roku). You must cancel your subscription through this third party (see below for instructions).

Otherwise, follow the instructions below to cancel.
On your desktop, laptop or mobile web browser:
1. Go to payments.google.com.
2. Sign in to your Google Play Store account.
3. Along the left side of your screen, select "bills and accounts."
4. Select the subscription you want to cancel > Cancel subscription.
On your Android smartphone or tablet:
1. Launch the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap Menu -> My Apps -> Subscriptions and tap on the app of the subscription you’d like to cancel.
3. Alternatively, tap Menu -> My Apps -> Tap the app of the subscription you’d like to cancel -> Tap the app’s details page.
4. Tap “Cancel” and “Yes” to confirm the cancellation.
On your Android TV:
1. Launch the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap Menu -> My Apps -> Subscriptions and tap on the app of the subscription you'd like to cancel.
3. Alternatively, tap Menu -> My Apps -> Tap the app of the subscription you'd like to cancel -> Tap the app's details page.
4. Tap "Cancel" and "Yes" to confirm the cancellation.
5. The status of this Subscription will be changed from Subscribed to Canceled. If you change your mind in the future, just re-subscribe.
Please note: Uninstalling the app will not automatically cancel your subscription.
What if I subscribed to BET+ on another device (like Apple, Fire TV, Roku), but want to delete my account?
If you subscribed on a device other than an Android device, you must return to that device to cancel your subscription. For instructions, go here. After canceling, if you’d like to delete your account, click here, REMINDER: You will forfeit any remaining time and will NOT receive a refund for your subscription.
