Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your sound. Here are some settings to check:
- If you’re having trouble with all sound, including video, access your Control Panel by swiping up from the bottom of your device.
- Check that the Mute option is turned off, not highlighted.
If your device has a side switch - iPhones on the left and iPads on the right - you should switch it so that you cannot see a red dot.
You can also change this side switch to Lock Rotation. This will help stop the issue from recurring. Just follow the instructions below.
- Go to your device’s Settings
- Make sure General is highlighted
- Look for Use Side Switch to your right
- Tap the Lock Rotation Option
