To check your score while playing the game, just tap on the Pause icon in the top right hand corner.

 
  

Your highest scores will show on the score board. When you finish the game, you will also be shown the scoreboard. If your score for each level increases each time you play, the score will reflect your personal best for that level. To start all over again, you will need to delete the game which will also cause you to lose any pictures in your album or any progress in the book.
